Feed me oil 15/30/2023 ![]() ![]() This is a warm, enjoyable little game that doesn't stick in the mind for long, but will keep you smiling while you're playing it. The puzzles are firmly on the casual side of the divide, but solving them is so smooth, and watching the oil bubble and squelch to its destination so pleasant, that you won't mind too much. That's unlikely, though, because while Feed Me Oil 2 is entertaining, it rarely has you scratching your head. Those stars unlock the next section of the game, too, so you might occasionally find yourself heading back to earlier levels to earn some more before you can progress. It's simple enough finishing the levels with the tools provided, but figuring out which two you don't need is a little trickier. The other two are reserved for pieces of equipment you haven't used. You get the first star in the rating system for feeding the creature enough oil. Tap on the valve and the oil will start running, and you'll see whether your network of new parts is good enough to guide the black liquid to the desired location. Tap again and you can twist the direction the new tool is facing in. The Philadelphia Water Department said Sunday it was responding to a spill of a latex product that Occurred along a Delaware River tributary. Popping these down is a case of tapping and dragging. Philadelphia residents on Sunday were advised to drink bottled water after chemicals were released into the Delaware River in a neighboring county. You're given a set number of different tools to place before you set the oil flowing. SlickĮach of the 60 levels is a single screen, with an outlet valve where the oil dribbles out and a lined off section where you need to deposit the Texas gold. It's not a particularly challenging experience, and nor is it very mentally taxing, but it's a well put together, enjoyable game nonetheless. Of course, there will be some obstacles which will be difficult to deal with. ![]() You have to eat the flies and collect the watering-cans. It makes for an absorbing experience while you're hunched over your iPad, and a couple of hours might drift past while you're placing fans, squirters, and girders to make sure the oil gets to its destination. Gameplays Controls: Mouse Attack / movement This is an interesting online game in which you control a carnivorous plant. It's a clever little physics-puzzler that sees you redirecting a flow of gloopy oil into the mouths of various oddly proportioned beasts, complete with a decent chunk of levels and a three star rating system. The art style may be similar to World of Goo, but it's still pretty nonetheless.Feed Me Oil 2 is the sort of game you play without really noticing. The latter levels become elaborate and beautiful machines of your own design, where oil flows in intricate and controlled patterns. The earliest levels challenge you to create simple things like ramps and canals for the oil to slide on, while the later ones introduce tools that can do things like twist oil up into a vortex like it's riding a wind current, or blow oil through the air via a fan-powered jet stream. The pleasure that comes from problem solving never ceases in Feed Me Oil's campaign thanks to the constantly changing level design. It's silly, I know, but those dumb stars are enough motivation to make me replay the levels. You see, while getting through the level once with all the tools is fine for progression, you get awarded additional stars based on how few of the tools you can manage to use. Tweaking the tools is kind of like deciphering a math problem, only one that you can play over and over again. The difficulty in Feed Me Oil is never a bad thing, though, and it's always a joy when I have that epiphany and realize just how to solve the stage. Over the course of the more than 30 levels it gets increasingly difficult, challenging you to move the oil in elaborate manners that boggle the mind. ![]() To this end you're given a set of tools that you can move around in the level, using them to direct the flow of oil. Just like Cut the Rope, your goal in Feed Me Oil is to put oil into the mouths of gigantic machines. Feed Me Oil is another one of publisher Chillingo's games that has a very literal name. ![]()
